This is the audio version of post #01 from April 18th 2023.
The last 30 years have been a rollercoaster ride. The internet opened a world of information, connected everyone, and introduced technology and services that transformed our societies and lives. Technology evolved lightning-fast and accelerated the pace of life. But, unfortunately, it also came with bursting bubbles left and right and all sorts of crises; financial, political, banking, refugee, energy, mental, food, or [fill-in-the-blanks] crisis.
The last couple of years were even more ridiculous and surreal. But, looking back 30 years, can you call this progression or even the pinnacle of human achievement?
Looking at global developments of the last months, you may notice that the balance of power in the world is shifting fast. Longtime alliances are breaking up, and new ones that were unimaginable six months ago are popping up.
You will hear; don't panic, all is fine, nothing to see here, all is under control, trust us, we have a plan for a reset, and we know what we are doing, go back to work. But it feels, looks, sounds, and smells more like massive panic in the highest ranks, where everyone is trying to save their skin.
Some ten years ago, I saw signs indicating Western dominance and society ending. History teaches that societies and cultures don't last forever. When they fall, it is often preceded by unrest, violence, wars, backstabbing, corruption, confusion, and panic. But a significant innovation can sometimes offer an evolutional jump into a new world.
So, the worst-case scenario is a brutal, bloody revolution. The best-case scenario is an evolution powered by a significant innovation, big enough to revitalise the minds and build a new world. I don't favour a brutal, bloody revolution, so I asked myself: What will be the next big thing? Three words popped into my mind:
"Consciousness Extending Technologies"
My next question was: What is that? ………… No answers were popping up this time. Although I had many innovative ideas, none were powerful enough to ignite an evolutional jump. But I didn't let this go and kept searching for it.
Five years ago, I still had nothing substantial, but I was adamant that an answer was close. So I started again from scratch. Back to basics, I grabbed a blank sheet and wrote down everything I had and what came to mind. That turned into a book titled "A Bigger Picture," which I released last year.
The book describes "Consciousness Extending Technologies" in innovative ideas, alternative explanations, new concepts, and new technologies, with an extended model and understanding of life, and supported by fictional stories to bypass the ego and open the mind.
The next big thing is an Extending of (human) Consciousness, where we will rediscover and apply the forgotten Technologies Nature provided us. These are the tools for the innovation that will power the evolutional jump into a new world. An Evolution energized by a deeper understanding of how life and the universe work. It comes with advanced knowledge for solutions to improve the quality of all life on Earth and will bring Peace.
The good news is that this is available for everyone, it is free, and you don't have to follow any course or schooling. However, it requires commitment, opening up your mind, trying new ideas, and starting from scratch. Previous achievements will have no value.
The bad news is that this is an individual journey, and nobody can tell you what you must do. Instead, you must completely trust your intuition and use your unique toolset to design your vision of "A Bigger Picture." But don't worry; you will learn to use, develop and sharpen your toolset when the foundations of your current life start to crumble.
In my book, I describe my vision, which may inspire you or give a flavour of what I mean. I also write articles on Substack, with short stories, insights, and ideas that may be helpful along the way.
Let your adventure begin. Peace and Freedom will be yours,
Hubert
